Welfare schemes being run for all round development of state: CM Gehlot

Sikar (Rajasthan), 13 March (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot participated in the closing ceremony of the Shekhawati festival at Laxmangarh in Sikar. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that public welfare schemes are being implemented by the state government for all-round development of the state. He said that the State Government is working with the determination to extend benefits of the schemes to the last person. This year's budget took care of the interests of all sections including farmers, youth, women, students, workers, common consumers and elderly people.The Chief Minister also said that along with free treatment of 25 lakh rupees, accident insurance up to 10 lakh rupees is being given by the state government under the Chiranjeevi scheme. It also includes serious ailments like kidney, liver, heart and other organ transplants. Provision has been made in the budget to provide up to 2000 units of free electricity to the farmers. Along with this, the electricity bill of about one crore domestic consumers will become zero due to the exemption upto 100 units. Apart from this, the Chief Minister said that industrialists belonging to Shekhawati are playing an important role in the country's economy. The people of Shekhawati have also contributed in protecting the country.
