“Namaste…” Jaishankar and Lavrov greet each other before SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting

Panaji (Goa), May 5 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar welcomed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on May 05 at the venue for SCO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Goa. Both of them greeted each other with “Namaste”. Sergey Lavrov landed in India on May 04 for the SCO FM meeting. He also held a bilateral meeting with EAM Jaishankar yesterday. This is Lavrov’s second visit to India this year. In March, he was in New Delhi for G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting.
