New Delhi, August 01 (ANI): A mysterious metal cylinder was located on a beach near Jurien Bay in Western Australia two weeks ago. Australian Space Agency started making efforts to identify the cylinder-like structure. Now, the ASA concluded that this object was most likely debris of expended third-stage of PSLV. Notably, the PSLV or Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle is a medium-lift vehicle operated by ISRO. The debris will remain in storage and ISRO will provide further confirmation to determine the next steps. Several reactions poured in when Australian Space Agency posted the picture of the object. Notably, ISRO launched India’s third lunar exploration mission, Chandrayaan-3 on July 14. ISRO successfully performed the Trans Lunar Injection (TLI) to slingshot Chandrayaan-3 towards the Moon on August 01.
