In this delightful conversation with ANI, the music maestro has shared the experience of creating the new version of India’s national anthem in the process of which a new Guinness world record was also created for “Largest Singing Lesson”. Speaking to ANI, an excited Ricky Kej said, “I am really honoured and thrilled that we are going to release a new version of the national anthem on this Independence Day. I took the British orchestra and got the best classical musicians from India like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Rakesh Chaurasia and others. They did a fabulous job of interpreting the national anthem beautifully… The music lesson that I took with Kalinga Institute Odisha became a Guinness world record…. The national anthem was the first piece of music that I had learnt as a child. National Anthem is my favourite piece of music and that’s why I keep making different versions of it.”
